Presentation abstract: 5 years a go I presented on JDE and mobile at the UKOUG conference, All about ADF, Mobile development platforms etc. If we look now a lot has changed on the technology side and a lot will change in the coming 5 years. In this presentation I will dive in the current offerings, what has changed and also look forward. Furthermore we see the mobile adoption in JDE is still low and is way behind the mobile development in other areas. Why? How can we push mobile more? What are the expectations of the new workforce coming?

Speaker biography: I am professional with more than 30 years of experience in working in business and IT. I added value to customers as Account Manager, consultant, project and program manager. Over the years, I built up strong knowledge in managing complex international projects in the ERP, CRM and BA domain. Furthermore, I can assist customers as a (strategic) advisor on most mayor modern IT challenges such as Cloud, Internet of Things, Mobility, Business Analytics and Innovation. Since 2006 I am working within Quistor. During this time, I was actively involved in the international growth of Quistor. In my role as partner of Quistor I had various roles from sales and marketing to Managing Director /CEO. Currently I am responsible for a few key accounts, strategic alliances and innovation. Besides JD Edwards I am also involved in our business intelligence and cloud offerings. For the innovative part of my role I am involved at initiatives around Oracle’s cloud application offerings, big data, mobile, wearables and IOT. I can assist customer with my strong experience in the Oracle product portfolio. I like to inspire people with my interest and knowledge on new technologies. I am convinced we need to be ready for the Generation Z entering the work force in the coming years and I am there to support you with these challenges.
